Prized for centuries for their distinctive aroma and flavor, white truffles are among a select few ingredients used by the world's great chefs to enhance the flavor of cuisine from salads to entrées and desserts. The Zigante company is listed in the Guinness book of records for the world’s largest white truffle.

Truffles are found only in certain parts of the world. They can be harvested only during the Autumn months under carefully controlled conditions. Our Truffles are found deep in the oak woods of Istria County in Croatia, close to neighboring Italy and Slovenia. Our minced truffles include no other ingredients besides choice black or white truffles in olive oil.

RECIPE – Turkey Breast with Minced White Truffles

90 grams minced white truffles, 800 g turkey breast, 40 g butter, 200 g cream, white truffle oil, salt, pepper.

Heat butter in a frying pan, add seasoned turkey steaks and slowly sauté for 10 minutes. When the meat is ready, let it sit in another vessel. Add cream and minced white truffles to the remaining butter in the frying pan. Season the sauce to your taste and boil briefly. Add the turkey steaks to the sauce and cook for another 2 minutes. Add a few drops of white olive oil. Serve with salad, steamed vegetables, and yams or roasted potatoes.
